The agency provides independent living services for emancipated youth to achieve their goals for self sufficiency. The plan documents any concerns and services planned or provided to help the youth become self sufficient. Existing Independent Living records entered on these tabs are able to be edited as long as the record is in a "Pending" status.
View an independent living plan as follows:
From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the Case ID Number link of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the Independent Living link in the navigation bar on the left. The Independent Living Records screen appears. The screen lists any independent living plans that have been recorded for the youth on this case.
Click Edit or click the Add Independent Living button. The system defaults to the Independent Living tab.
Click Goals tab. The Independent Living Goals screen appears listing goals and their status that the youth is expected to meet in order to gain self sufficiency.
Click Edit. The Requirement Details screen appears.
Click Cancel. You are returned to Independent Living Goals screen.
Click Readiness Review tab. The Independent Living Readiness Review screen appears.
Click Edit or View. The Readiness Review Details screen appears.
Click on the Contact and NYTD Account tabs.
Click Close. The Independent Living Readiness Review screen appears.
Click Cancel. You are returned to the Independent Living Records screen appears.
