This screen allows you to view, add, or update an explanation of why each less restrictive setting was not selected for any child who is placed in a home other than a relative's. Removal setting information is recorded in the case plan for all children for whom the agency maintains custodial rights, to document how the selected placement will meet the needs of the child. The system displays the placement type from the current placement record.
The Edit link opens a screen on which you can view or add a detailed explanation of why the particular setting was not selected.
