Placement records screen

This screen allows you to view, add, update the placement records that exist on this case. Only one current placement record (with no end date entered) can exist for a child at one time.

The View link allows you to open the record in read-only mode. The Edit link allows you update an existing placement record.

When a placement record is completed, Authorize, Leave, and Placement end links are enabled.

The Authorize link is enabled when a service authorization is necessary and allows you to route the placement for authorization. When you click this link to authorize services, the system displays the current service authorization record if one exists. If one does not exist, the system creates a "Pending" service authorization record with the most recent service begin date. When the linked service authorization record approved, the placement record is frozen. You can, however, modify begin date.

The Leave link allows you to record the child's temporary leave from placement. The Placement End link allows you to end the placement. The Report link allows you to print the JFS 01646 Report of Indian Child Placement.

The Add Placement button allows you to record a new placement record for the child selected.

Fields on this screen

From Begin Date	To view placements that started within a certain date range, enter the beginning date of the range. Use for the format MM/DD/YYYY.
To Begin Date	To view placements that started within a certain date range, enter the ending date of the range. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.
Child Name	To view placements for a certain child in the case, select the child's name.
Status	To view placements in a certain status, select the status.
Sort Results By	Select the method by which you want the system to display the results.
Child Name	If you are adding a new placement record, select the child who is being placed, then click Add Placement Record.
