Child Members (adoption)

This screen allows you to create a new adoption case for one of the children listed. The screen will display children who meet the requirements for associating with an adoption case. You can select a child, normally a sibling, from another open case and add that child to this adoption case. The agency must have permanent custody of any child added to an adoption case.

When you create an adoption case, the child is permanently removed from the current case, and certain information is copied from the current case to the new adoption case. (See About adoption cases.)

Once you create an adoption case, you cannot reverse the action nor can you merge the case with another.
