Client benefit account search

This screen allows you to view a history of the benefits a child is receiving, including type, amount, and benefit payment date range. For example, a child may be receiving child support, SSI, or SSA payments.

The system allows you to record when a benefit application was submitted and when benefit payments are approved, rejected, or closed. You can also post ongoing benefit payments. These benefits are used to offset the cost of the child’s care during the benefit payment date range. You can add or update an account and benefit details from this screen.

A child benefit is considered an adjustment in certain situations. A child benefit adjustment automatically cases a reimbursement adjustment if the child is IV-E reimbursable.
