This screen lists the persons who are associated with a case but who are not case members. A person, for example, a teacher or neighbor, may have a connection to a case without being a case member or participant. Once individuals are added as associated persons, they will be available to select as participants in case plans, case reviews, and semiannual reviews. Associating individuals can be a convenient to capture relative information, which may be considered for placement, if necessary.
A person cannot be both a case member and an associated person on the same case.
The Edit link allows you to describe the association between the person and the case. The name link opens the person profile of the person. The Person Search button allows you to locate or add the person profile of am individual you want to associate with this case. The Delete link allows you to remove the association between the individual and the case. (The individual's person profile remains in the Ohio SACWIS database, however.)
