An intake disposition is recorded for the alleged child victim(s) and alleged perpetrator(s) of each allegation when the intake is one of the following:
CA/N report (all types)
Family In Need of Services report (type "Stranger Danger" only)
For the alleged child victim, the report disposition indicates whether the alleged child victim was found to be abused or neglected. For the alleged perpetrator, the report disposition indicates whether the alleged perpetrator was responsible for the abuse or neglect. (See About intake dispositions.) The system calculates the case disposition, which is equal to the highest (i.e., most severe) report disposition on the intake record.
