PSA expiration extension

This screen allows you to view, add, or update a history of the extensions to the expiration date of protective service alert (PSA). It displays the date and a summary of each time the expiration date was extended. The system applies an original expiration date that is 90 days past the date of the PSA approval. When you extend the expiration date, the system applies a new expiration date that is 90 days past the previous expiration date. The history displays each extension and reason.

The Extend PSA button displays a screen on which you can enter or view the reason for extending the expiration date. The system sends an email notification to the PSA originator 10 days before expiration of the PSA.

(This tab is enabled only until the expiration date. Once a PSA has expired, it cannot be extended. You must create a new PSA.)

While any worker can view protective service alerts, they are recorded and maintained by the State's PSA administrator.
