Justification request details

This screen allows you to select the intake for which you are requesting a justification and to add or update the reasons for the justification. You request a justification when you are not able to complete the assessment/ investigation activities as required by approved procedures. The justification must be approved by the agency director or designate. Justifications apply only to intakes of category CA/N and Family in Need of Services (type "Stranger Danger").

The Associate Justification Type button allows you select the type of justification. The Process Approval button allows you to submit the justification request for approval.

Select (Intake ID)	Select the radio button of the intake to which this justification request applies. You can select only one intake. This field is required.
Reason for Justification(s)	Enter a detailed description of the reason(s) for this justification for the deviation from standard policy. You can enter up to 2,000 characters. This field is required.
