Disposition details screen

This screen allows you to view, add, or update the disposition of a provider home study and prepare it for approval.

As the home assessor, you use this screen to record your recommendations resulting from this home study. If you choose not to recommend this provider for approval and certification, you must link this home study to at least one rule violation, using the Link Rule Violation link.

Once the home study is approved, the system automatically creates a recommendation record on the Approval/Certification Recommendations screen. It draws information entered on the home study. The approval date on the home study is applied as the recommendation date.

Fields on this screen

Do Any of the Listed Verifications...	Select Yes or No in answer to these questions. Click the Home Study Information tab, then click the Verifications link to view the verifications on this home study. You must enter answers before submitting this home study for approval.
If Yes, Explain	If you selected Yes to either question above, you must enter a further explanation. You can enter up to 1,000 characters.
Disposition	Select the status of this disposition. The field defaults to "Pending." This field is required. If you select Close or Denied, you must also enter a reason and link this home study to at least one rule violation record.
Disposition Date	Enter the date on which the disposition status was in effect. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY. This field is required when the disposition status is other than "Pending."
Service Limits	If the disposition status is "Approved," select the service limit. This service limit cannot be greater than the value entered on the capacity screen for the approved number of beds or approved number of cribs. (See Record capacity information.) This field is required for approved dispositions.
Primary Reason	If the disposition status is "Closed" or "Denied," select the main reason for this.
(Check boxes)	Select any additional reasons for choosing "Closed" or "Denied" as the disposition status. You can select more than one.
If Primary or Secondary Reason is Other, Explain	If you selected the Other check box above, enter an explanation. You can enter up to 1,000 characters.
