Invalidate a Delinquency Court Record

Court hearing records may not be deleted once they have been saved. If a record was created in error, you can invalidate the record. You can do this from the case record or from the child's person profile.

From the Home screen, click the Case tab.
Click the Workload tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the ID number link of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click the Legal Action link in the menu on the left. The Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen appears.
Click the Maintain Delinquency link next to the participant who's delinquency court record needing invalidated. The Delinquency Information screen appears.
Click the Edit link next to the hearing or adjudication record you want to invalidate. The Hearing Details or Adjudication/Disposition Details screen appears.
Select the check box next to the Hearing or Adjudication Record has been Created in Error field near the bottom of the screen.
Click Save. You are returned to the Delinquency Information screen. The action shows created in error
Click Close. You are returned to the Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen.

Locate and edit the person profile.
Click the Maintain Delinquency link next to the participant's name who's delinquency court record to invalidate. The Delinquency Information screen appears.
Click the Edit link next to the hearing or adjudication record you want to invalidate. The Hearing Details or Adjudication/Disposition Details screen appears.
Select the check box next to the Hearing or Adjudication Record has been Created in Error near the bottom of the screen.
Click Save. You are returned to the Delinquency Information screen.
Click Close. You are returned to the Case Legal Actions / Delinquency Participants Filter Criteria screen.
