If an eligibility determination record was created in error, you can delete it if it is in "Pending" status.
The system automatically creates an eligibility record in "Pending" status when a worker records on the child's person profile an "initial" agency legal status for the custody episode. If custody is terminated before the agency receives a judicially determined custody type, you must delete the pending eligibility determination record. (The system will not automatically remove the pending record.)
You cannot delete or make any changes to an eligibility record in "Completed" status. (See Terminate IV-E eligibility.)
Delete an eligibility determination record as follows:
Click the Financial tab at the top of the screen.
Click the Eligibility tab.
Click the Eligibility/Reimbursability link in the navigation bar on the left. The Child Selection search screen appears.
Click Person Search, then locate and select the child whose eligibility determination you want to delete. After you select the child, the screen displays histories of the eligibility and reimbursability records.
OR
Enter child's Person ID. Click Go.
You are returned to the Child Selection screen. The Eligibility Program and Reimbursability Program tables are populated.
Click the Delete link next to the pending eligibility record you want to delete.
