Domestic address search screen

This screen allows you to see whether an address in the U.S. already exists in the database. To conduct this search, you must enter at least the street number, street name, and either the city and state or the zip code.

The system checks the Ohio SACWIS database first. If it does not find the address, the system will search against the address validation tool. Any search results appear in the bottom section of the screen. You can select or copy an address from the search results or add a new address.

Fields on this screen

Street Number	Enter the street number for which you are searching. You can enter up to 10 characters.
Street Name	In the first field, select a prefix if this address has one. In the second field, enter the name of the street for which you are searching. You can enter up to 50 characters. In the following fields, select any suffixes that apply to this address.
Unit Name	In the first field, select the type of unit. In the second field, enter the unit. You can enter up to eight characters.
Sounds Like	Click this box to check it and conduct a search for street names that sound similar to the one you entered.
City	Enter the name of the city. You can enter up to 30 characters. The system will search cities with similar sounding names.
State	Select the state.
Zip Code	Enter the five-digit zip code.
County	If the address is in Ohio, select the county.
